Christmas Wreath

No, I'm not wishing the year away & starting my Christmas projects early! This is a wreath I made before Christmas, but never got round to showing it off!

It was easy to make, but quite time consuming! I've used Stampin' Up! products where possible, including the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler ink - my favourite red!

The wreath has now been carefully packed away, ready for display when Christmas finally does arrive this year!

There's No Place Like Home

Morning! Just a quick post today to show you a project I made last year - There's No Place Like Home.

This is made using an empty wooden embellishment container - it was already painted grey, so I just added some background paper, cut up a stamped image into 9 equal squares & added some lace & embellishments!

I love how it's turned out - I've been making quite a few home decor items recently, as sometimes it's nice to make something for yourself to keep!

My Latest Creation...

Inspired by Maxine (of Maxine's Melange, which is now closed), I have created my version of the chair pin cushion:

The chair is from a doll's house furniture set, made from MDF, that I had to build! I then painted it with white acrylic as the base coats, then a couple of coats of antique white & finished off with a coat of gold Spray & Sparkle.

The cushion has been made using Stampin' Up!s Spice Cake designer fabric & the cotton reel has been made using chipboard, card & Stampin' Up!s Spice Cake designer series paper. I think the delicate patterns & colours really suit this type of project.

I've really enjoyed making this & it's inspired me to move on to other miniature projects. I'm currently making a dresser! I'll post some pics when I've finished it.

Let me know if you fancy making something like this & I'll arrange a class!
