My Latest Creation...

Inspired by Maxine (of Maxine's Melange, which is now closed), I have created my version of the chair pin cushion:

The chair is from a doll's house furniture set, made from MDF, that I had to build! I then painted it with white acrylic as the base coats, then a couple of coats of antique white & finished off with a coat of gold Spray & Sparkle.

The cushion has been made using Stampin' Up!s Spice Cake designer fabric & the cotton reel has been made using chipboard, card & Stampin' Up!s Spice Cake designer series paper. I think the delicate patterns & colours really suit this type of project.

I've really enjoyed making this & it's inspired me to move on to other miniature projects. I'm currently making a dresser! I'll post some pics when I've finished it.

Let me know if you fancy making something like this & I'll arrange a class!
